New technologies and services rely on the «cloud». We offer cloud services and VPS in the DACH region in local data centers.
Things to know about servers and cloud hosting
For our VPS and cloud services, the customer can choose between server locations in Austria, the ecological in Switzerland or Germany. All data centers are ISO 27001 certified and DSGVO compliant.
No data is stored or kept outside the peaknetworks infrastructure.
Cloud Hosting
In cloud hosting, several different systems share the tasks. Depending on resource consumption, resources are dynamically added or switched off again if they are no longer needed. Unlike a single server, cloud hosting is not dependent on one server.
Nextcloud Hosting
peaknetworks has been supporting Nextcloud Enterprise Hosting systems for many years in addition to shared Nextcloud Hosting. Based on this experience, we can guarantee a high-performance and secure operation of your Nextcloud.
Security is ensured by daily backups, firewalls, 7 x 24 monitoring, software updates and a free SSL certificate.
If you need more storage, we can provide the desired storage space during operation without interruption.
VPS – Virtuelle Server
A virtual private server, VPS for short, is a server with its own operating system to which the customer gets full access to install and run any software. Virtual means that several VPS can share the hardware of a physical server, which results in a better utilization. Unlike other Internet providers, peaknetworks servers are not over-provisioned or over-utilized. Thus, the full performance is always available to the VPS customers.
MySQL
peaknetworks MySQL and MariaDB servers are dedicated virtual servers with SSD storage and dedicated CPU cores and RAM.
The equipment and configuration of the MySQL server is determined together with the customer based on a free analysis of the use case.
In addition, you will benefit from tips and tricks from the "peaknetworks Development Lab" staff who know MySQL and MariaDB inside out.
Kubernetes
Kubernetes hosting enables highly scalable hosting of applications based on containers. Additional resources are automatically made available by the cluster at runtime. We take over the management of the kubernetes.
Backup solutions
We offer backup solutions in all data centers. The fault-tolerant storage systems are accessible via S3 Bucket Service, via WEBDAV or via SFTP on request.
In addition, we offer S3 backup solutions of data from MS Azure, Microsoft Office 365, AWS and Google Cloud. In combination with our own client software for MS Windows, MacOS, Linux and various NAS systems, you get a secure backup for your data.
